Compliance Team Lead - KYB

About the role

This role focuses on leading a team of KYB analysts to ensure that client onboarding applications meet compliance standards. The Team Lead will be responsible for allocating tasks, monitoring team performance, and serving as the main point of contact for complex KYB issues. This involves overseeing customer due diligence, risk assessments, and enhanced due diligence processes, while also monitoring for unusual activities or potential AML flags.

A key part of the position involves maintaining strong relationships with internal Relationship Partner Teams to streamline operations. The Team Lead will also contribute to the development of KYB policies and procedures, ensuring they align with current regulations. Identifying and coordinating training programs for the team is another core responsibility, aimed at enhancing their skills and knowledge.

Success in this position means effectively managing the KYB team to ensure all processes are compliant and efficient. This includes maintaining high standards for client onboarding and due diligence, and proactively addressing any compliance-related challenges. The role operates within a flat organizational structure, offering autonomy in managing projects and contributing to the company's growth in the blockchain ecosystem.

The salary for this position ranges from $122,000 to $225,000 annually.
