This role involves defining the product roadmap, collaborating with engineering on platform infrastructure, and optimizing the card experience for fintech partners. Ideal candidates have extensive product management experience in payments or blockchain, with a strong technical understanding and a focus on driving adoption and retention.
About the role
This Senior Product Manager role at Rain focuses on the company's card product, which utilizes stablecoins for transactions. The position requires owning the entire product roadmap, from initial concept through growth and optimization. This involves defining the cardholder experience, enhancing platform capabilities, and ensuring the product meets the needs of Rain's partners, such as fintechs and neobanks. Success in this role means consistently delivering a high-quality, intuitive card experience that drives user adoption and retention.
A key aspect of this role is deep collaboration with engineering teams. The Product Manager will translate complex technical considerations, such as issuing flows, authorization behavior, and ledger design, into clear product decisions that benefit partners. This requires a strong technical understanding of payment systems and blockchain concepts. The role also involves gathering direct feedback from partners to inform prioritization and ensure the team focuses on the most impactful work.

The company partners with various institutions to help them launch global and efficient payment solutions. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to a rapidly growing company backed by prominent investors. The ideal candidate will be a senior, autonomous operator who can define problems, drive plans, and own outcomes without constant oversight, demonstrating exceptional product judgment and analytical rigor.
The annual salary for this position ranges from $180,000 to $250,000.

From the employer

- Partner deeply with engineering on platform and infrastructure tradeoffs (issuing flows, authorization behavior, ledger design, network integrations) and translate them into partner-facing product decisions

- Build and tune the activation and growth levers that drive adoption, usage, and retention of cards across partner programs

- Gather feedback directly from partners, distill it into sharp prioritization, and push the team toward the highest-leverage work

- Exceptional product judgment and analytical rigor — you’re someone others describe as one of the sharpest PMs they’ve worked with, and you consistently raise the bar for the people around you
- A senior, autonomous operator who can define the problem, drive the plan, and own the outcome without needing close direction
- Strong technical fluency (APIs, payments systems, blockchain concepts) and the instinct to pull on technical threads yourself rather than defer to engineering
- Genuinely excited to live in the details — you believe product quality is won in the specifics and are energized by the work to get them right
- Excellent written and verbal communication; you can operate with sophisticated external partners and internal engineering teams with equal ease
