This Senior Brand Designer will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity and communication strategy for Uniswap, a leading platform in the decentralized finance space. The role requires leading design projects across various media, including social campaigns, brand systems, and physical installations. Success in this position means consistently producing high-quality, compelling work that translates complex ideas into clear and innovative designs, directly contributing to the brand's strength and business impact.

The designer will join a small, close-knit design team within Uniswap Labs, the core contributor to the Uniswap Protocol. This team is responsible for creative strategies and outputs that strengthen the brand and deliver powerful messages in a fast-moving industry. The role involves significant collaboration with cross-functional peers to generate ideas and create effective design solutions, while also mentoring other designers and serving as a subject matter expert.

A key aspect of this role involves driving the design team to adopt AI-native workflows, integrating generative AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple projects, adapting to new information, and identifying and solving complex design challenges with a focus on both brand and business outcomes. This position also includes responsibilities for recruiting and onboarding external contractors and agencies.

The full-time salary for this position ranges from $170,000 to $190,000, in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law.

• Act as a strategic brand design lead, collaborating with cross-functional peers to generate ideas, content, and create effective design solutions
• Independently lead medium to large projects end-to-end, including social campaigns, brand systems, microsites, physical buildouts, and presentations
• Define and communicate creative strategy and direction — for yourself and other designers — to produce high-quality, compelling work that translates complex ideas into clear, innovative designs
• Develop and maintain a visual language cohesive with the Uniswap brand
• Drive the design team to become AI-native, integrating GenAI tools into workflows to enhance efficiency and creativity
• Engage in design reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback
• Design with a focus on both brand and business outcomes, solving ambiguous and complex challenges in creative and effective ways
• Serve as a design mentor and subject matter expert across the organization
• Lead the recruitment and onboarding of contractors and agencies
• Have a pulse on design, crypto, and marketing trends

• 5+ years designing across a range of styles and media — static, dynamic, and interactive
• Familiarity with crypto and using dapps
• Collaborative, low ego, and open-minded
• Sharp attention to detail and strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout
• Fluency in Figma and Adobe Suite
• Ability to context-switch and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to pivot quickly to new information, opinions, and direction
• Ability to identify problems, generate solutions, and socialize them effectively

• Minimum full-time salary of $170,000 - $190,000. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law.
• Full Time employees at Uniswap Labs are also eligible for other compensation elements, including tokens, and benefits, dependent on the position type.
