Senior Business Continuity Analyst

About the role

This role focuses on supporting and executing business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) initiatives. The analyst will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and documenting BC/DR procedures, including standard operating procedures. Key activities involve assisting with impact assessments, creating recovery plans, coordinating testing, and leading training and awareness programs across various departments.

The position also includes tracking and reporting on program metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of resilience efforts. Collaboration is essential, as the analyst will coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to keep recovery procedures current and accurate. A critical component of the role is managing central documentation repositories, which house plans, test results, and contact lists.

Success in this role means contributing to the company's compliance audits and certification activities, specifically those related to ISO 27001 and ISO 22301. The analyst will also participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives, helping to drive operational continuity for a global technology partner that connects talent with projects across North America and beyond.

The salary for this position ranges from $102,500 to $170,000 USD annually.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in small team settings and deliver results independently with guidance.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence and Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of standards such as ISO 22301, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks.
