About the role

This Senior Systems Engineer position focuses on the Integration, Verification, and Validation (IVVQ) of ZeroAvia's ZA200 fuel cell system. The role requires developing and maintaining plans for validation, integration, and qualification, ensuring they align with the project timeline and aerospace lifecycle requirements. A key part of the work involves planning and executing environmental qualification campaigns, including authoring test specifications, procedures, and managing the execution and results.

The engineer will lead IVVQ reviews and represent the IVVQ perspective in design reviews, managing verification risks and aligning with various stakeholders such as customers, regulators, and suppliers. Collaboration across internal teams like Airworthiness, Certification, Safety, Test, and Design is crucial to deliver compliant IVVQ in accordance with ARP4754B and ARP4761A standards. This ensures the fuel cell system meets all necessary regulatory and performance criteria.

Success in this role means owning and delivering IVVQ activities across different levels of the aircraft system, from the overall system to individual components. It involves ensuring that all validation, integration, verification, and qualification processes are robust and meet aerospace standards, ultimately contributing to the successful deployment of the ZA200 fuel cell system.

The salary for this role ranges from $85,000 to $130,000 annually.
