About the role

This role focuses on the daily management and optimization of MoonPay's Workday HCM system. Responsibilities include overseeing business processes, generating reports, and resolving issues throughout the employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will ensure the system runs smoothly and supports the company's human capital management needs.

A key aspect of this position involves designing, building, and maintaining Workday integrations with various internal and external systems, such as Finance, Payroll, and IT tools. The role also requires configuring and optimizing Workday modules to adapt to changing business requirements, while always preserving system integrity. This includes identifying inefficiencies and implementing automation to reduce manual tasks.

Success in this position means effectively partnering with diverse teams, including HR, Finance, Payroll, Talent, IT, and Engineering, to gather requirements and deliver scalable Workday solutions. The lead will also be instrumental in supporting Workday's bi-annual releases, which involves testing new features, documenting changes, and deploying updates.

The salary for this role ranges from $86,000 to $90,000 USD.

What You Will Do

• Own day-to-day Workday HCM operations, including business processes, reporting, and issue resolution across the employee lifecycle
• Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations with internal and external systems (e.g. Finance, Payroll, IT tools)
• Configure and optimise Workday modules to support evolving business needs while maintaining system integrity
• Identify inefficiencies and drive automation and system improvements to reduce manual processes
• Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, Talent, IT, and Engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Support Workday bi-annual releases, including testing, documentation, and deployment of new features and functionality.

About You

• 3+ years of hands-on Workday experience across configuration and integrations
• Experience across multiple Workday modules; Core HCM, Reporting, Advanced Compensation, Talent & Performance, Time Tracking, and Learning.
• Strong experience with Workday integrations (e.g. APIs, EIBs, Workday Studio or similar tools)
• Comfortable owning both system operations and technical improvements end-to-end
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system or data issues independently
• Ability to work cross-functionally and translate business needs into effective system solutions.
