Role in brief
Gauntlet is seeking a Business Development professional to manage high-value partnerships in the crypto space. This role involves the entire deal cycle, from discovery to activation, with a focus on originating new opportunities. It is suitable for someone with a background in fintech partnerships, strong negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of crypto/DeFi.
About the role
This role involves end-to-end ownership of significant partnership deals, specifically focusing on "Earn opportunities" within the crypto sector. The work includes identifying potential partners, rigorously evaluating them, structuring and negotiating deal terms, and ensuring successful activation post-agreement. A key aspect is the ability to originate new partnerships in untapped market segments where Gauntlet can establish a leading presence.
The position requires close collaboration with various internal teams, including Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Finance. This cross-functional engagement is crucial for effectively positioning Gauntlet's offerings and validating its solutions within target industries. Maintaining an accurate and transparent sales pipeline, including forecasting and CRM hygiene, is also a core responsibility.
Success in this role means not only closing deals but also driving the activation of signed partners to ensure their programs go live and achieve their intended impact. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in structuring and negotiating complex, multi-stakeholder deals, demonstrating the ability to secure favorable economic terms and walk away from unsuitable opportunities.
The salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $100,000 USD.
