Role in brief
Palta is seeking a Senior User Acquisition Manager to lead Google Ads strategy for their health coaching app, Simple Life. This role involves developing scalable UA engines, managing significant budgets, and collaborating across teams to drive user growth. Ideal for a data-driven individual with strong Google Ads experience who thrives with autonomy.
About the role
This role focuses on strategic user acquisition for Simple Life, an AI-powered health coaching app. The Senior User Acquisition Manager will be responsible for planning and executing Google Ads strategies to meet key performance indicators, with an emphasis on building a scalable user acquisition engine. Success in this position means taking full ownership of goals and defining the methods to achieve them.
The position requires a hands-on approach to data and analytics, including deep dives into metrics like LTV, monetization, and web funnels. The manager will also lead creative testing frameworks to identify and scale successful creative assets. Collaboration with creative, MarTech, and growth teams is essential to ensure alignment and rapid execution.
The ideal candidate will manage substantial budgets, allocating resources dynamically to maximize Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). This involves not just media buying, but also understanding how user acquisition impacts overall business metrics like product retention and the bottom line. The role demands a business-owner mindset, actively challenging processes and proposing solutions.
The salary for this position ranges from $86,250 to $138,000 annually, in addition to stock options.

From the employer
What You'll Do:
- Strategic Scaling of Paid UA: Plan, execute, and own your strategy to hit KPIs. You are building a scalable UA engine across Google and beyond.
- Extreme Ownership & Prioritization: You own the goals, not the tasks. We provide the resources and the "Why"; you define the "How". Something blocks you? Your manager's only job is to remove it. No hand-holding, no micro-management - just results.
- Lead Creative Testing Frameworks: Build and manage predictable, scalable frameworks for testing thousands of creatives. You know how to find a winner, why it won, and how to replicate that success at scale.
- Aggressive Budget & ROAS Management: Responsible for dynamic budget allocation to maximize ROAS. You decide where the next dollar goes.
- Creative, MarTech & Growth Collaboration: Guide the creative team's focus, forecast asset delivery, write airtight technical requirements for MarTech, and collaborate with Growth. Every department is deep in UA context - that's how we move fast.
- Data Deep-Dives & Growth Execution: You live in the metrics. You dig into LTV, monetization, and web funnels when something feels off. If a number moves, you're the first to ask "Why?"
- Analytics Mastery (SQL & Dashboards): Data-literate by default. Whether it's a quick SQL slice or a full dashboard build - you don't wait for someone else to pull it for you.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience with medical verticals under strict policy regulations or healthtech/wellness (Strong advantage)
- Google Ads Mastery (or Platform Agility): Deep knowledge of the Google Ads tech stack. Fluency in other platforms is a plus, not a liability.
- Proven track record managing significant monthly budgets ($300k+/mo)
- US market - you know the landscape, the benchmarks, the playbook
- Deep hands-on experience with web funnels
- Proficiency in BI tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau or equivalent) and tracking platforms (GA4, AppsFlyer or equivalent).
- Data Hunger: Comfortable diving into Looker, Superset, or similar.
- Ambiguity. When the roadmap shifts or a new problem appears with no clear solution, you don't freeze - you build.
- You can sell your ideas to cross-functional teams (Growth, Creative, MarTech, Analytics) and negotiate priorities with stakeholders who don't report to you.
- Not a yes-person. We expect you to challenge your manager. If he's wrong - say so. If a process is broken - flag it. Direct, honest feedback in both directions is how we get things done.
- You care about how UA affects LTV, product retention, and the business bottom line. Business owner first, media buyer second.
Perks and Benefits:

- The equipment you need to do your job
- 21 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
