(Sr.) Product Manager

About the role

As a Senior Product Manager at BTSE, you will lead the product strategy for exchange-related features, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives. Your role will involve collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and compliance teams to deliver high-quality products on time.

You will be responsible for analyzing market trends and user feedback to enhance the trading experience. This position requires overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from requirement gathering to post-launch optimization, using data-driven approaches to improve user retention and product performance.

The salary range for this role is between $120,000 and $200,000.

Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for exchange-related features, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, UI/UX design, marketing, and compliance teams to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.
• Market & Competitor Analysis: Continuously research crypto market trends, user feedback, and competitor movements to optimize the user journey and trading experience.
• Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from gathering requirements and writing PRDs to wireframing, testing, and post-launch optimization.
• Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor and analyze key product metrics to identify bottlenecks, improve user retention, and make informed product decisions.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of solid experience in Product Management.
• Industry Background: Proven product management experience specifically within cryptocurrency trading platforms/exchanges (e.g., Spot, Derivatives, Wallets, Fiat gateway, or Earn products).
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required to communicate effectively with our global and cross-functional teams.
• Core Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of blockchain technology and crypto market dynamics.
• Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, prioritize product backlogs, and thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• AI Utilization: Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or other generative AI productivity tools) to optimize product documentation, workflows, or data analysis.
• Technical Background: Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Google Analytics, SQL) or a basic understanding of trading algorithms.
• Growth Mindset: Previous experience in a high-growth startup environment or scaling a product from 0 to 1.
